Privacy & Terms

Plain-language summary, not a wall of legal boilerplate. This is a small, solo-run project — if anything here is unclear, email support@pdfstack.example and ask.

Privacy

PDFStack doesn’t use accounts. There’s nothing to sign up for and no email collected just to use the tool.

Your files: uploaded PDFs and their output (compressed file, merged file, or split zip) are temporary. They’re deleted automatically shortly after you download the result, and in any case no later than 15 minutes after the job starts, whether or not you ever download it.

Payment: if you buy a 24-hour pass, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. PDFStack never sees or stores your card details. Stripe’s own privacy policy covers that data.

The unlock cookie: a signed cookie marks your browser as having an active pass until it expires. It contains no personal data — just a signature and an expiry time — and isn’t used for tracking.

Usage counts: PDFStack keeps basic anonymous counts (e.g. how many files were processed) to understand demand. This isn’t tied to you or your files in any way.

Terms

PDFStack is provided as-is, with no uptime or accuracy guarantees — it’s a small, actively-developed project. Don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to, or anything illegal.

If a payment goes through but you don’t get access (e.g. your browser closed before the redirect back completed), email support@pdfstack.example with your payment details and it’ll be sorted out by hand — either a working pass or a refund.

The service may change or be discontinued at any time.
